Team Training Event & Swaps

We had our team training event the other week and these were the swaps I made.

For each card I cut two Lattice shapes from the Bigz die (yes, I even used some Designer Series Paper) and attached them together to extend the pattern, being careful to line them up as straight as possible.  These were then attached to mats of Whisper White card before being run through the Big Shot using the Argyle embossing folder.  I used strips of DSP with Whisper White card as a banner, stamping a sentiment from the Wishes Your Way stamp set in a matching colour to the DSP.

The pinwheels were cut using the Pinwheel die from DSP and carefully folded with a mini brad to secure in place.  I made sure that the pinwheels spun - I couldn't make them spin when blowing them - but they are still really sweet.

Here are a couple of photos of the team playing on the day.

Not everyone could make it on the day but we still had loads of fun, talking about some of the new stuff coming our way soon!!!
Fancy joining our team?  Well, if you join before the 30th May you will get even more products
- £155 for £99
- Sneak peaks of the new products coming in the next catalogue.
- All the benefits of joining Stampin' Up!
- 20% discount (30% off your first order placed within 45 days)
- Chance to attend the annual European Conference

Contact me ASAP for a chat if you would like to learn more.

Julie's Hostess Gift

Hope you are having a great weekend? I certainly am, we had our Stamptacular today and everyone had a great time.

As usual, we were so engrossed we all forgot to take photos of the ladies making their projects, sorry about that!

Anyway I did a workshop a few weeks ago for some lovely ladies at The Keppels in Rotherham and here is a photo of the little box I made Julie as a thank you.

Here is a photo of the side so you can see the depth of the box - as she had the workshop at the end of the Sale-a-Bration promotion, I used the Vine Street embossing folder (I'm missing this one already).

There were a couple of little gifts inside, hope you liked them Julie?

Want one of these too? Contact me to book your workshop and I will show you how to make it!

Dabble Day photos

Wow, what a brilliant time I had at the weekend at Jeans Dabble Day in Beighton.
Here is the project I demonstrated and everyone made to take home.

I used a photo frame with apertures which were slightly too small but went 'out of the box' so to speak with the dresses and mannequins being attached to the outside of the frame.
The background paper was Whisper White card stock which was stamped with one of the swirls from Flowering Flourishes and a sentiment from Feel Goods in crumb cake ink.
Two of the dresses were cut from Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Parade DSP and for the one in the centre I stamped the large doily from Hello Doily in versamark then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Then I rubbed
Rich Razzleberry ink over the top.
I cut this out with one of the dress dies, adding a tiny punched flower with a rhinestone in the centre to decorate. The cardigan on the first dress was made by cutting out the top part of the sleeved dress, inking up the inside of the Lattice folder with crumb cake ink and running it through the Big Shot. I cut it in half and trimmed to the length I wanted then adhered it to the front of the dress.
It was definitely the best Dabble Day I have done and I would like to day a massive thank you to Jean and all the ladies there! Here are some of them totally engrossed in their projects.

I am quite busy at work this week, but I promise that I will post directions of the bag I made the other day for those who have asked for it.

Gift bag

I forgot to post this - there have been so many announcements and so much excitement at the moment with Stampin' Up! That I totally forgot I'd made it!!!

The bag is made from a 12x12" piece of designer series paper (Twiterpated) cut to 10x12" and the handles made from the 2x12" strip. Silver Glimmer Paper was die cut with the Beautiful Wings die then coloured using reinker in a mister bottle mixed with rubbing alcohol. There were some bits left over so I punched out 3/4" circles for the handles.

If you'd like some instructions on making the bag, just let me know and I will post soon.

Now, before I go, I just want to remind you that we have our next Stamptacular next Saturday and booking will close shortly so you need to book your place quickly. Just email me ASAP and we will save you a seat.

Team meeting this Sunday

Fancy learning more about Stampin' Up!?

Well, we have our regular Paperdolls team meeting this Sunday and we open the meeting up to those who would like to learn more about what we rave about all the time.

There's no pressure sales or making you feel like you have to join us - we are not like that, I promise. We just want to share what we love about crafting and how to get the most out of being a member.

We talk about what's new (and with the new stuff coming there's LOTS to mention) there will be a demonstration and a make and take session.

If you missed out on the amazing deal for joining our team during the Sale-a-Bration promotion, I do have a package of freebies for anyone who does want to join me on our team before the 29th April - but this is only through me and is not a condition of attending the training session at all!

Please let me know if you are wanting a seat saving at Team Training, and if you have any other questions just email me at Felinecrafty@btinternet.com or call me on 07795 566727

Anniversary Card

Hi there

Hope you had a great weekend? We had a great one.

It was out 27th wedding anniversary on Friday and I made a card for us both - there is no way on this earth Ian is going to go out and buy a card!!!

I used a sheet of Very Vanilla card stock to make an A5 card blank then stencilled the hearts using a heart from the laser cut sheet of hearts from the More Amore DSP. I used a sponge dauber close to the detailed edges of the heart using Basic Gray ink then blended it with the large sponges. Being a bit thrifty, I even used the heart on the front of the card as I liked the effect from the inked edges!

The scalloped lace ribbon (this is just stunning in real life) from the Artisan Embellishments kit was wrapped around a strip of Primrose Petals card stock.

Other items used from the Artisan Kit include two ticket stubs and a button, mounted on a scalloped circle, trimmed from the sheet of laser cut hearts.

We decided to go out for a meal for our anniversary, but unfortunately I ate so much I couldn't sleep! So I was a bit tired on Saturday at the craft show. But we had a BRILLIANT time, thank you to all the lovely ladies who took the time to chat!

We are taking bookings for our next all day event, so contact me soon to book your place.
