Hi, hope you are well and the weather isn't causing you too many problems. We had some rain this morning, but i doubt if it will have made much difference to how dry the soil is after all the hot weather.
I have been doing a fair bit of crafting lately, both clean and messy, just how I like it - all mixed up, just like me!!
It was my lovely friend and Stampin' Up! buddy, Sara Rayner's birthday last week so I made her a card using some of the goodies from the Expressions in Ink Suite. The designer series paper is absolutely stunning and as much as it hurt to cut into it, I know Sara will appreciate my pain so I allowed myself to cut it. My other paper stroker friends will get this, LOL.
Our little Stampin' Up! team meeting was lovely as always and here are the projects we made. The little box is so sweet, isnt it? We were joined by my new team member too which was fab.Just look at the embossing on the card fronts, I might just have to put the Ornate Floral 3D folder in my next order...We do swaps in our team too which is great as the ladies are so talented and we get to see different ideas and products we might not think of getting. Its so strange, no matter how many times I scour the catalogue, I still miss things I NEED. Here are the swaps we made.
We used a sketch to give us a starting point for our designs. I have never done this before and I was surprised how much easier it was to have a starting point instead of a blank card. I'll definitely use a sketch again.I also made this plaque during our workshop so I could demonstrate some techniques.
