Convention News...

WOW.  We had a brilliant time in Manchester at the European Convention and I think I have just about got my breath back.

Here is a photo of most of the team, wearing their posh frocks, at the end of the awards night.

There were lots of announcements including the location and dates of the next three convention dates.  They are to be held in Brussels on 16-18 October 2014, 12-14 November 2015 and 17-19 November 2016.   So I have no excuses, now I know how long I have to save up - and get myself on stage!!!

The Incentive Trip for 2015 will be in Portugal, and the threshold for demonstrators to attend has been lowered, so I need to get my finger out if I want an all expenses paid holiday with some of the most talented, creative people you could ever dream to meet.

We have a brand new product called Undefined, where you draw then carve your own stamps.  Here is a link to the details.

The rest of the announcements centred around new products, so unfortunately I cant tell you anything about them...yet.  So, you will just have to bob back soon for details of the new Spring Summer Seasonal Catalogue and Sale-a-bration.

Anyway, here are some photos of the swaps I made for Convention.  This was a little pouch I made for each of our team.

It holds a cute owl nail file, hence the owl on the front.

The pouches were created using strips of in colour card in Strawberry Slush, Crisp Cantaloupe and Pistachio Pudding with the same colours of Ruffle Stretch Trim Ribbon used to secure the pouch.

Then I made some, well, I designed and prepared these card fronts for general swapping.

If it hadn't been for Joanne and Hazel they wouldn't have been finished as they punched out and assembled nearly all of them - and there were 100 all together!!!

Now, I dont know if any of you have tried the new digital package from Stampin' Up! but the bauble image is NOT a conventional stamp, it is a digital stamp.  This is where the image is stored digitally, and when you want to use it, you can just select it, change the size and / or the colour to any of the Stampin' Up! colours.  This makes it so versatile.  You do need to have the paid for version of My Digital Studio though as the Christmas Collectibles digital stamp set is not included in the free trial.

But the absolute best part about the image is that if you print it off at the original size, it fits the Christmas Ornimant Punch perfectly!  Here are the four different colourways of the card fronts I took with me to Manchester.

The 4" square card fronts are cut from Textured 12x12" cardstock in Cherry Cobbler, Indigo Island, Smoky Slate and Old Olive.  Mats of alternate card were cut out and mounted onto the card front using dimentionals and the designer series papers are from Season of Style and Winter Frost - I'm getting good at using DSP now arn't I!?

I will be posting some photos of the other swaps I made later this week, so bob back soon for more photos.
