Well, my birthday came and went (soooo quickly) back to the real world again. Had a really busy week but managed to do a mini scrapbook, something I have fancied doing for a while. It measures about 5" x 4 1/2" so its nice and small to carry in your handbag.
I used my Sizzix machine with a scalloped square die to cut out the pages and the star on the front from a sheet of chipboard. I used some Co-ordinations cardstock for a few of the pages as they look so nice sanded down.
The photos are of all the pets we have loved (and unfortunately lost) over the years, except Mrs Miggins who is sulking (as normal) on one of the pages. It was lovely, but really sad looking through all the photos and deciding which ones to use but thats one of the things I love about scrapbooking. You remember some of the most wonderful times while pulling everthing together.
I am thinking of starting up some scrapbooking classes before Christmas. If you are interested, please email me.
Here is Rossi, posing and taking a drink out of our water feature in the garden. Not sure if you can make it out but the water feature is a weeing boy! He didnt see the funny side at all!
The German Shepherd is Tara, who was amazing - and even shared our love of animals! She was quite old when we got Mrs Miggins but they were the best of friends. Mrs Miggins is still with us (well, when she feels like it!) but she isnt very fond of having a camera pointed at her!
