Happy Birthday Kath

I can't believe I haven't posted for so long - life really has got in the way of things lately.

Here's a birthday card I made for my friend Kath's 60th birthday. Now, I had to do something pretty different as Kath is the one who started me making cards. And it worked! The first thing she asked was how I had made it - Result!!!

The letters were die cut using the Little Letters thinlits, Stamps used were a mixture of Larger Than Life Alphabet & Numbers, Beautiful Bunch, Petite Petals and Flower Shop. Matching punches and Lots of Labels Framelits were used to cut out the flowers and mats for the numbers.

Hope you have s fantastic weekend.

Thank You Card

Hi every one. Hope your enjoying the weekend. I've been really busy lately and had forgotten to post a photo of a card made for me by Olivia.

I gave her some of the items from my craft room a few weeks ago and here is the thank you card and cute ladybird she made for me. The ladybird matches the bag I have in the boot of my car too!

I'm having a stall at Locke Park tomorrow for the Rainbow Run if you want to come and see some of the new South Hills Designs lockets. So if your free, come over and support a great cause.

Class projects

I forgot to post the projects we did in last weeks class - oops!
I didn't put any sentiments on as I am saving them for emergencies.

Real mixture of styles and seeing the girls faces when I was distressing the card stock was priceless!!!

The butterfly card and bookmark were inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest - I thought I'd saved it but can't find the ladies details. I'll post as soon as I find them to give her the credit.

Next class details will be posted soon.

Enjoy your weekend.

Team Training Swaps and Challenge

We had our team training night on Wednesday - ALWAYS a great event for inspiration, motivation and a really good natter while crafting.

Here are the swaps I made, toppers to add to any project.

And here's what I did with mine.

A bit fiddly but I like how they turned out.

If you'd like to join our team or find out more, just contact me for more information.

Oh, nearly forgot. We've got our next class tomorrow so let me know if you'd like to come.
Have a great weekend

Happy Birthday, Mum

It was my Mums birthday on Friday and here's the card I made for her.

Look at me using all this Designer Series Paper on a card - not like me at all- but she's so worth it.

The MUM letters were made using simply Pressed Clay and the alphabet mould. It was a bit fiddly but a great way to add dimension and personalise a project.

Hope you having a great weekend

Perpetual Calendar

I'm loving the new Perpetual Calendar kit! Everything (except the stamp set) comes in a sturdy box, which could also be decorated.

The coordinating stamp set has some gorgeous images - month names and also separate images, covering seasons/events

It didn't take very long to make either as the instructions included in the kit have suggested layouts.

Makes a great gift for a crafter too!

Mothers Day Card

Hi there
Here's some photos of the Mothers Day card I made for my lovely mum.

Hardly any stamping though as the stunning Painted Petals Designer Series Paper is the focal point on the card.

As you know, I'm a bit frugal (ok, tight!) with my papers so I used some to decorate the envelope of the 8" square card blank.

And hers a photo of the inside

Look at me posting twice in a week!!!

Jan the Naughty Crafter is Back!

I know, it's been AGES! But I've been crafting, and have even been remembering to take photos (well, most of the time anyway.

Hopefully my marathon colds have gone now, I've been able to breathe for just over a full week - bliss!

Anyway, here is a card for my amazing friend, Shirley. She celebrated her 80th birthday at the beginning of March and we were honoured to be asked to her birthday party last Sunday. What a brilliant day, thank you Shirley & Don x.

Now, Shirley is an amazing crafter so I had my work cut out making her card - the only non SU item was the embossing folder.

Those of you who know me, know I really have a problem with using the Designer Series Paper, here I even used it to make the envelope to make it even more special.

Before I go, there is still time to join my team and get the extra free products on offer until the end of March.

Contact me on 07795566727 for more details.

Hope your having a great weekend.

Treat Pouch

Hello

Hope your having a great weekend?
I've been an the settee and in bed since Thursday night with another cold - I'm not 100% sure it wasn't flu its been so bad.

Anyway, the good news is Shadows doing well and has decided to start each day off chasing the chickens. His chest and breathing aren't that good but he's certainly not letting it get to him.

Here is a couple of photos of the treat pouches I made for my club ladies and as swaps for our team training last month. There so cute and only use a 6" square of paper.

The papers are stunning - perfect for making wedding gift boxes or favours - and are called Something Borrowed. There are 12 sheets as normal, with 4 each of 3 different double sided designs.

Our next class is Saturday 14th feb and we're doing 2 and 3 step stamping.

Let me know ASAP if you are coming to the class so I can prepare everything!

Class last Saturday

Hi everyone.
Sorry for not posting but our dog, Shadow has been really poorly recently. We nearly lost him but he's feeling better now.

I took this photo of him before he was ill as he was helping me clear away after our last class

Can you see the backing off the Dimensional foam pad on his nose? Bless him, he couldn't work out why I was crying through laughing when I took the photo.

Here's a photo of the table before I'd managed to clear a space. We get a bit untidy at times in classes...

And last of all, here's a photo of the projects.

Our next class is on 14th feb. So bob back for more details.
